A Dream Come True!
Today was the big day and I just want to say that I had an absolute blast from beginning to end. I started my morning bright and early with an interview at Cat Country 98.1 on The Morning Show with Jess, Brian, and Amanda. As I have mentioned before I am a HUGE Country music fan, so being interviewed there was a great start to my morning. Jess, Brian, and Amanda were so funny and I had a great time with them! I want to thank them for welcoming me and for the goodies they gave me as well.
After my interview I was off to Fox Providence Station to Co-host The Rhode Show! I was eager and excited to learn what I would be doing on todays show. I got to Co-host with Danielle and Stephen, and had such a great time with them. They were so sweet and made me feel right at home with them on the Big White Couch! I interviewed Scott Farber from Hunt’s Photo and Video and learned all about the new Mirrorles cameras. I will definitely be putting that on my Christmas list! I also was able to hang out in the kitchen and eat some DELICIOUS “Angry Salmon” featured from David Burke Prime at Foxwoods. My favorite part of the show was being able to give all the The Rhode Show viewers a sneak peak at my segment “Rhode Trips” that I would bring to the show if chosen as Co-host. The morning flew by and I’m still pinching myself. Today was a dream come true and I feel so lucky and blessed to have been given this AMAZING opportunity.
I want to thank everyone at Fox Providence and The Rhode Show for being so welcoming and helpful today. It was such an unforgettable experience, and one that I will treasure forever. To all my family, friends, and fellow Rhode Islanders who have supported me through this entire competition I can’t thank you enough. I hope I made you all proud this morning.
Make sure to tune into The Rhode Show on Monday morning as the Top 5 ladies will be at Cardi’s Toys for Tots Drive then tune in for the LIVE finale at 7:30pm to see who will be crowned the next SFAS Rhode Show C0-host!
Xo,
Mariely
