I don’t know about you, but I am so ready and so excited to hear who will host the Rhode Show next year!

This journey has been unreal! I’ve been blessed, and am incredibly thankful for my family, friends, and everyone working at WPRI and Fox Providence.

Today is the day thatI’ve been waiting for since October 6th we had our intial auditions at Twin River. I have been amazed, educated, grateful, nervous, confident, and every other emotion under the sun since I received that intial call letting me know I was a part of the Top 20. My life has been the wildest roller coaster ride and I have to tell you, I’m not ready to get off.

Not only have I learned exactly what I want to pursure in life but because of this experience I have also made two friends that I believe will be in my life forever.

As we wrap our final day as The Top 5 here’s where you can find us:

We will be  starting with an appearance all together on The Rhode Show LIVE from Cardi’s in Warwick as we help them prepare for the Toys for Tots drive. We will be joined by Cat Country’s Jess, Brian, and Amanda in addition to the Ni Ro Pe and the Marines.

Next we will be personalizing Toys for Tots bins to fill up with YOUR help from 12 to 1pm and *Cardi’s on Rt 2 in Warwick, so please come down say hello and donate an un-wrapped toy to make Christmas amazing for a less fortunate child!

Then it’s on to Studio B for a few hours of pampering to relax and prepare us for the big reveal tonight!

I can’t believe the big day is tomorrow! The Top 5 finalists have a very busy day scheduled, so I wanted to make sure I blogged one more time before the BIG announcement. I just want to take some time to tell you how I am feeling right at this moment and to thank some people. My journey started on October 6 when I decided to audition for The Rhode Show SFAS competition. I arrived at Twin River eager to audition and was happy to learn that I was lucky #100. (little did I know they were only accepting 100 applicants)Next was making it into the Top 20 and now here I am alongside 4 lovely ladies in the Top 5!

 The  journey has been an absolute blast and such a great learning experience for me. I have met such amazing people along the way and had one of my dreams become reality. Co-hosting The Rhode Show was truly one of the best days of my life. I was able to do something that I love and have such a passion for. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow night I am going away from this experience with no regrets. I have put my absolute heart and soul into this and have given it 150%. I want to thank everyone who has supported me along the way. First a big thank you to everyone at Fox Providence and The Rhode Show for giving me this opportunity and seeing something in me. To my family… Mommy, Daddy, Ricky, and Ingrid I love you all so much and couldn’t have done it without you. To my incredible friends who have always believed in me and encouraged me to follow my dreams thank you! To all of my fellow Rhode Islanders who have sent such kind words and well wishes my way I hope you enjoyed learning about me and hopefully this won’t be the last you see of me! To the other 4 lovely ladies in the Top 5 it has been an absolute pleasure to have met all of you. Thank you for making this experience so much fun!

Where to start? Tomorrow is going to be a CRAZY day!! As you all probably know by now tomorrow night is when it all goes down, the final decision is going to be made, and the next Rhode Show co-host is going to be announced LIVE on fox at 7:30 pm!! But before all of that goes down the Top 5 will be starting our day off at Cardi’s in West Warwick where we will be helping out with The Toys for Tots Toy Drive!! Feel free to stop by from 12-1pm tomorrow (or any day up to December 24th) and donate a gift to a child in need.  

After the Toy Drive all of the Top 5 girls are heading to Studio B Salon in Cranston to get our hair and makeup done for the big night!! Then it’s home for a quick change and then off to Jacky’s Waterplace for the announcement we’ve all been waiting for!!

So make sure you watch for the big announcement tomorrow night on Fox Providence, or online at foxprovidence.com!

The Anticipation is killing me (as you can tell from my almost pained expression )!!!!!!

I am so excited for our jam-packed day tomorrow – and so glad that it’s so busy because I’m sure it will make the time fly!

I hope everyone tunes in tomorrow morning to watch us get ready for our Toys for Tots drive, and I hope as many of you as can will come visit us at Cardi’s on Route 2 in West Warwick from 12-1pm!  We’d love to meet you and we’d love your support in this fantastic toy-drive!  I dunno about you, but I had a blast toy shopping today!

I am so grateful for the last month.  I have gotten to live my dream – and it has been as exciting as I always imagined it would be.  Thank you to everyone who tunes into the show for loving it, and an extra special thanks to everyone at The Rhode Show for being so fun, enthuiastic, and supportive – and for believing in me!!!   Now I’m just hoping it doesn’t have to end!

This weekend is full of friends, decorating, and holiday cheer…as well as anticipation for Monday evening!

I spent most of my Saturday running errands, purchasing holiday gifts, and cleaning my house.   Saturday evening I went out to celebrate on of my best friend’s 30th birthday party.  We went to the recently redone Tazza downtown in Providence.  It was an amazing night to celebrate an even more amazing person!

Sunday will be the day I finally get my tree up, and deck my halls!

This picture was taken last year in NYC in front of a tree decorated entirely out of origami ornaments. Talk about beautiful and creative!  I’ll be posting a picture of my Christmas tree later on today

Monday night at 7:30 is the big finale – one of us will be announced the next star of the Rhode Show!

But, before that happens, we have a Monday jam-packed with tons of fun and amazing events – and a chance to meet more Rhode Show fans

First off, we get to have another live appearance on The Rhode Show!  This time, all 5 of us will show off our poise and charisma together, as we’ll be airing live from Cardi’s on Rte. 2 in Warwick!.  We’ll be there for the fantastic Toys For Tots drive that both Cardi’s and The Rhode Show take part in every year!  We’ll each have our own toy donation bin, and our goal is to get them filled up so that everyone can have a very merry Christmas!

We’ll be at Cardi’s from 12-1 pm, and I invite anyone who wants to come by, meet the 5, and get into the Christmas spirit to come and consider bringing a toy!  This is such a wonderful organization and a wonderful opportunity to help out – what could be better?  We hope to see as many smiling faces as we can, so please consider coming out to support Toys for Tots!

Next stop for the top 5?  Studio B salon at Garden City, in Cranston!  To get ready for our big night, we’re all getting makeovers!  I absolutely love getting my hair and makeup done, and I know the girls at Studio B will make us look flawless – I can’t wait to get all glammed up for the big reveal!

After that, there’s just one stop left on our top 5 journey -  The announcement party!  I am so excited (and so, so nervous) for this moment!  We have all worked very hard to get to this point, and the night will be so exciting, no matter what!  I can’t wait to spend a final evening with all of the girls together, and, of course, I can’t wait to hear who gets the job!

We’ll be arriving at Jacky’s Waterplace, for drinks, sushi, a party, and our big announcement!

I’ve worked hard for this moment, and I can’t wait to enjoy it!  I’m bringing my parents along for support (since they’ve been supporting me my whole life and have helped me so much along this journey)!  It will be a very exciting night!  The hardest thing now is just getting through what I’m sure will be a very long weekend!

I hope to see as many people as I can on Monday afternoon for the Toys for Tots drive at Cardi’s – it’s a great event and a great chance to give back!  Then I hope you all tune into Fox at 7:30 pm on Monday night – so that you can find out the minute we do who will be the next star of the Rhode Show!!!

Thank Goodness It’s Friday!

The weekend is here, and boy will it be a long one for me and the other 4 Search for a Star contestants We have all been able to co-host for a day, showed you What we would like to bring to the Rhode Show, and made it through our final interview.

Now, we have a weekend full of waiting and anticipation!
